As a child I spent time in the country with my Father on his farm. Although brief, it would prove to have a profound effect later in life. Living in large cities in my 20's and 30's I found high stress and a high paced lifestyle worsened my anxiety and depression. In 2006 I moved to Kentucky where I met and married my soulmate. We embraced a simpler lifestyle by raising organic livestock and crops that ease the effects of autoimmune disease which we both suffer from. The calm of the country has aided my adult son with Autism, as well. My photos are a reflection of a happier, peaceful return to nature and my roots as a little girl who loved the cornfields.
